Ah, Kickstarter obligations…

Hopefully everyone who backed our latest Girl Genius Kickstarter for ‘City of Lightning’, has received their Backer Kits. You need to fill it out so we can actually ship you your loot. We assume that you want the loot you have already paid for, so fill it out already.

I also was part of someone else’s Kickstarter. Zach Wienersmith of ‘Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal’ (http://www.smbc-comics.com/#comic) who works much harder than I do, as he gets a new page of hilarity up every goddamed day, made us a stretch goal, in that Kaja, Cheyenne & I created a new, one page Girl Genius comic about said Kickstarter, which was for ‘Single Use Monocles’, an idea we are very jealous we did not come up with ourselves. Anyway, we have done said comic, and Zach has posted it, and you may view it here (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/weiner/the-gentlemans-single-use-monocle/posts/1566072), even if you did not back his Kickstarter. Which I think is mighty sporting of him

Phil is at the Phoenix Comicon! Booth 742!

We had a wonderful time at Balticon last weekend, and now, this weekend, Phil is at the Phoenix Comicon: booth 742.

For all you large hams out there, Phil will be leading a Girl Genius Radio Theater performance on Saturday at 12:45 in West 212 A&B. He needs actors, including someone to take my usual role as Agatha, since I’m not even in the state. If you want to get on stage and read a part, please talk to him at the booth (742) and see what he’s up to.

Phil is also doing a panel on Saturday 10:30, in room 121 N. The topic is: “how to excite your fan base,” and really, we should be in the audience for that one, rather than on the actual panel, since we’re always wondering how to amuse you all properly, and always rather feel like we’re not quite doing it right…heh.

So, please visit Phil if you’re at the con, and have a lovely weekend, wherever you are!
